Embark on a cultural experience along with a wonderful stay at KH Plantation. Be astonished at the flexibility & liveliness of Kalari artists as they depict amazing forms of self-defense through Kalaripayattu. Kalaripayattu-the oldest martial arts are a gift to the modern world and known as the mother of all martial arts. Legend traces the 3000-year old art form that originated in ancient south India. Kung-fu, popularized by the monks of the Shaoline temple, traces its ancestry to Bodhi Dharma-an, an Indian Buddhist monk and Kalaripayattu master. One can experience breath-taking moments filled with excitement by watching this one-hour show from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Upon prior intimation, we will be able to reserve seats for KH Plantation guests at the show in Thekkady.

Kathakali

Kathakali

Kathakali is a group presentation, in which dancers take various roles in performances traditionally based on themes from Hindu mythology, especially the two epics, the Ramayana and the Mahabharata. Lose yourself in the ancient dance-drama form of Kathakali. It is a true delight for those who love exploring New Culture and the Arts. Don’t miss your chance to watch the show from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM or 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Upon prior intimation, we will be able to reserve seats for KH Plantation guests at the show in Thekkady.

We have a multipurpose conference hall where guests can try their hand at a game of Table Tennis, Carrom, and numerous board games like Scrabble, Snakes & Ladders, Jenga, etc.

There is a Basket Ball Court on the premises for our guests who are interested in some outdoor sporting activities.

We have an outdoor play area for kids equipped with a Slide, Sea Saw, Swings & a Sand Pit.

Enjoy the chilly mountain air around a bonfire, that can be arranged upon request, rather than having to retreat indoors.
